Learn to make use of your garden glut with canning and preservation, and make your own tomato salsa and verdurette.
We will cover:
- An overview of types of preserving and canning (hot water bath, pressure canning, oil preservation, sugar preservation, dehydration, freezing and salt preservation)
- Safely canning tomato salsa (red or our favourite green tomato salsa)
- Making a verdurette (salted herb stock substitute)
