Have you always wanted to try your hand at sourdough bread baking, but didn’t know where to start? Have you maybe tried it, but your starter went off or your bread resembled something more like a brick?

This online course is for you. Over the course of 3 lessons, we will cover the basics of sourdough bread baking, and importantly, how to get it to work with a busy life, because the best bread is the one that you actually make.

The first two lessons will be based on my go-to sourdough recipe, we will spend time honing this basic recipe, before we go on to some tips and recipes for using sourdough in other recipes and making a bread recipe of your own.

This course is very much grounded in how to make sourdough work with your busy life - from troubleshooting your starter, giving you tips for maintaining a starter on a schedule that suits you and using your starter when you don’t want to make bread.

The lessons will be hosted on a password protected site and include a mix of written, photographed and video step by steps. Each lesson will also include a printable PDF.

If you would like, you can buy the course in conjunction with a sourdough kit - this includes a ready-made starter, a banneton, bowl scraper, razor for scoring, small recipe book, bread saver bag and a bag of my favourite flour. However, we will also cover sourcing the key tools and ingredients if you are outside of the UK or prefer to source your own.
